Getting Small Solar Panels for a Reasonable Price
If you would like to start turning your home into one that is solar powered, no doubt you’ll want to take a look at the price to decide what you can afford. Taking control of our environment and the impact we have on it is important as responsible adults, and doing so doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. In fact, finding reasonably priced options is possible today.
Harnessing the sun for solar energy is one of the best things you can do to help lower fossil fuel consumption. Even with small solar panels, you can get enough electricity from the sun to help power appliances, heat or cool your home, or at least run a few of the lights within your home. You can start small and then work to build up a larger system to reduce your dependence on commercial electricity more and more.
Finding reasonably priced panels for your home use is easier than you may think. Often you can find free panels from others who are replacing current systems. Another option is to build the panels yourself. The price of materials is reasonable and you can make your own small solar panels with just a couple hundred dollars and a few hours of your time.
Even on a tight budget, you can install new solar panels into your home. Once you make the initial investment, you’ll actually find out that the panels pay you back in the long wrong, so it’s worth the investment of time and money to make your own.

I have been able to find really cheap panels by contacting new homeowners that have pools. A lot of people use the panels to heat the water and the new homeowners no longer want to use the panels for this. Often times they are more than happy to sell them for REALLY cheap.
